BUNNIES FOR BRUNCH!
It’s the Monday before Easter!
The cottage is decorated . . .
By the . . .
Whole family!
The Easter baskets are retrieved from their storage box.
And the Vanderbears have again donned their finest attire for their annual Easter portrait. (Pets included!)
Next on the agenda is planning for their Easter Brunch . . .
“Let’s have smoked ham this year!” Suggests Cornelius, as he retrieves one from the smokehouse.
“And potatoes!” Says Fuzzy.
“How about some asparagus slathered with butter?” Says Fluffy.
“And I’ll make us a delicious fruit salad and hot cross buns!” Announces Alice.
“Don’t forget the dessert!” Chimes in Muffy.
“We’ve planned for so much to eat, that I think we should have the Bunny Family for brunch.” Alice suggests. “Yes!” Yell the twins!
They all watch as the invitation is filled out. The cubs can hardly wait to deliver it!
Easter soon arrives . . .
And after church, the food is prepared and set out on the buffet.
They’ll be feasting on the smoked ham . . .
Scrumptious potatoes . . .
Asparagus slathered in butter . . .
A delicious fruit salad . . .
Hot cross buns . . .
And mouth-watering desserts . . .
Which include two of Alice’s famous . . .
Chocolate eggs!
Two tables are also set. There’s a big one for the adults and bigger children . . .
And a smaller one for the smaller children!
They go to the buffet and are seated . . .
As well as the small bunnies.
After the prayer, Alice says, “We’re so glad you could join us for brunch!” Muffy giggles as she announces . . .
“I’m so glad we’re having ham and not ‘bunnies for brunch’ like Mom said! Good one!” They all shout as they dig into their Easter feast!
Happy Easter to All!
They can “bear-ly” wait for you to come and visit again . . .
